Paranoid- new JB single!/ other new singles/ official tracklisting/ Paranoid music video/ CD cover

lyrics:
I make the most of all the stress
I try to live without regrets
But I’m about to break a sweat
I’m freaking out

It’s like a poison in my brain
It’s like a fog that blurs the sane
It’s like a vine you can’t untangle
I’m freaking out

Everytime I turn around
There’s something that don’t feel right

Might be paranoid
I’m avoiding the lines cause they just might split
can someone stop the noise
i don’t know what it is
but it just don’t fit

I take the necessary steps
To get some air into my chest
Can’t hear the thoughts inside my head
I’m still freaking out

That’s why my ex is still my ex
I never trust a word she says
I’m running all the background checks
she’s freaking out

Everytime I turn around
Something’s just not right

Might be paranoid
I’m avoiding the lines cause they just might split
someone stop the noise
I dont know what it is but it just don’t fit
consider me destroyed
i don’t know how to act because i lost my head
i must be paranoid
i never thought it would come to this

stuck in a room
i’m with staring faces
yeah
caught in the nightmares
can’t wake up
i begin my cry
running through her street
i’m about to freak
come and rescue me

why be paranoid
yeah
i’m avoiding the lines cause they just might split
can someone stop the noise
i don’t know what it is but it just don’t fit
consider me destroyed
i dont know how to act because i lost my head

i must be paranoid
i never thought it would come to this
i’m paranoid

wow! what a totally new sound!
they sound much more mature .
but in a way, i feel as though i've heard a similar tune before... ?

Hey everyone!

We are all back from vacation and sitting down for lunch on the set of our new music video for PARANOID. It is so good to be back but the break was amazing.

This is by far the most adventurous video we have ever done. We are working again with the Malloys (who directed our BURNIN’ UP video and Demi’s LA LA LAND video). They are so visionary, friendly and creative. We cannot wait for you to see this video.

Be listening from now until the end of the week for more of PARANOID.

Also, we want to give a huge shout out to HONOR SOCIETY for their performance this weekend back home in NJ at Bamboozle.

Check them out at Rollingstone!

Thanks

JB

In the past, the Jonas Brothers have been “Burnin’ Up” and calling for an “SOS” when it came to their love lives — er, we mean, singles — but now the guys are just plain “Paranoid.”

And on Tuesday, they Tweeted that they recently finished work on the video for the new song, the first single from their upcoming album Lines, Vines and Trying Times. “And that would be a wrap on the ‘Paranoid’ music video,” they wrote, adding a picture of themselves on the set, looking quite happy with their work.

The video was directed by the Malloys, who worked with the on their “Burnin’ Up” music video. The song is set for radio release on May 8 with the video premiere sometime after that, reports Aceshowbiz.com. A 30-second snippet of the song that leaked to the Web shows the song’s similarity to their others — it’s another catchy, pop-rock tune, this time with the boys sing about, well, being paranoid.

The boys have said that the new album, set for release on June 16, is their most personal work so far. “We’re really proud of it. It’s a good step for who we are as musicians,” Joe Jonas told MTV News. “As we get older, so does our music. There’s a lot more horns, and it’s really fun. I think people are going to be able to jam out to it in their cars or their mom’s cars … or their boom boxes.”

The group got a publicity boost from an unexpected source this week, when dance-pop singer Lady Gaga compared the frenzy surrounding the JoBros to the one brought about by the Beatles back in the 1960s. “[The Beatles] were responsible for the birth of the sexual revolution for women,” she told British tab the Daily Star. “Now we have the Jonas Brothers representing the return of the superfan.”
