Mitchel Musso may be dating costar Emily Osment on their hit Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana, but in real life, another girl has captured his heart.

The 17-year-old musician dished to Seventeen magazine about his new lady love, Gia Mantegna. He shared, “We’ve been dating about two months. We go out with friends, or when it’s just us, we watch movies and eat sushi. It’s the first actual relationship I’ve ever had. We’re together 24/7 attached at the hip, and I love it.”

Mitchel also loves it when Gia lets everyone know that they are together. He said, “Whenever a ton of boys are around, she gets closer to me. A lot of times, a girl will go around and socialize, but Gia makes sure that everyone knows we’re together. It’s very comforting - I feel like it’s my safe zone, like nothing bad is going to happen. And she’s really close to her family, which is great.”
