BASKING RIDGE, N.J., and DALLAS, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ — Verizon Wireless, together with Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, will celebrate the highly-anticipated release of Walt Disney Pictures’ Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience this weekend in Dallas with an evening of entertainment for the whole family. On the agenda for Jonas Brothers fans: an exclusive private screening of the movie, a red carpet after party, a special appearance from Demi Lovato and a remix of the movie’s theme song “Tonight,” which will be available first to BlackBerry(R) Storm(TM) smartphone customers.
To get the party started, the Jonas Brothers will join superproducer Timbaland on the Verizon Mobile Recording Studio Bus to debut an exclusive remix of “Tonight,” the theme song from the film, which opens tomorrow in 3D theaters nationwide. “Tonight” marks the second song in this exclusive music program produced by multi-platinum producer Timbaland in collaboration with today’s hottest artists. Songs from the program are available for a limited time for free to Verizon Wireless customers using their BlackBerry Storm smartphones from Research In Motion (RIM).
Starting Saturday night, Verizon Wireless customers will be able to get the exclusive Timbaland remix of the Jonas Brothers’ “Tonight” directly on their BlackBerry Storm smartphones — simply visit www.VerizonTimbalandStorm.com using the BlackBerry Storm smartphone’s browser, enter the device’s phone number and then download the track. This song, and the other collaborations, will be available to all V CAST Music customers later this spring.
“The Jonas Brothers have captured the hearts of America, and Verizon is proud to have been with them from the beginning through the ‘Burning Up’ tour,” said Ed Ruth, director of digital music for Verizon. “This film captures the essence of the band and their recent tour; we’re excited about celebrating opening weekend and continuing the momentum by giving our BlackBerry Storm customers a chance to hear a brand new song.”
“We are excited to debut our new collaboration with Timbaland and to make this new version of the song available to our fans who use the BlackBerry Storm,” said Kevin Jonas. “This weekend means a lot to us, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than giving the gift of new music to our fans.”
“Throughout my career as a producer, I’ve worked with many different artists spanning a number of music genres,” said Timbaland. “Working with the Jonas Brothers on the ‘Tonight’ remix has allowed me to connect with a new group of fans and has been one of the most unique collaborations yet.”
Verizon Wireless is working with Timbaland, in collaboration with other top artists, to bring new songs to BlackBerry Storm smartphone customers in connection with several special events over the next several months. Customers with BlackBerry Storm smartphones will be first to get the new tracks, which will feature different artists and genres and appeal to music lovers of all ages. For more information, visit www.VerizonTimbalandStorm.com.

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience is rated G for general audiences.
Available exclusively in the United States from Verizon Wireless, the BlackBerry Storm is the world’s first smartphone with a “clickable” touch screen and features powerful communications capabilities, plus advanced multimedia features, including support for V CAST Music with Rhapsody. Not so glowing Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience movie review from AP Movie Critic Christy Lemire: Someday, we may actually get a clue as to what makes the Jonas Brothers tick. We may get a glimpse into the pop stars' distinct personalities, because certainly they must have them, and, eventually, even.. ..learn about their demons and desires. But for now, Nick, Joe and Kevin are presented as so much glossy, superficial packaging in this 3-D concert movie. Sure, there are behind-the-scenes moments wedged between the perky performances, but they feel self-conscious, staged, and consist mainly.. ..of the brothers marveling at how many screaming fans are gathered outside their hotel/car/wherever. We learn nothing about who they are or where they come from, they may not even have parents, for all we know, since the main adult we see accompanying them is their bodyguard. But then again, director Bruce Hendricks' film isn't intended for the uninitiated. It's for the tween and teen girls who emitted ear-piercing bleats of glee at the very sight of the words 'Joe Jonas' during the opening titles at the Los Angeles premiere. To their credit, the Jonases do put on a high-energy show, Nick does roundoff-back handsprings! And Hendricks, who also directed last year's Miley Cyrus 3-D movie, has his cameras everywhere. And it's hard to hate on them completely since they seem like such hardworking, decent kids, except Kevin, that is. At 21, he's a grown-up. He has chest hair and sideburns. Unfortunately, most of the three-dimensional effects here are pretty gimmicky. As for the songs themselves.. well, they all start to blend into each other after a while. G. 75 min. One and a half stars out of four. (WELL I THINK THEY'RE GLWING !]

Girl Gives up Jonas Brothers for Lent .
Newsday article: 'Olivia, is very likely the biggest Jonas Brothers groupie on the planet. Her fanatical diligence has gotten her up close & personal [Outside their.. ..hotel, at backstage entrances, etc.] so many times that she reports Joe once shot her a weird 'you again?' glance after spotting her in the crowd for the 5th time in a week. And the saddest part about this is that Olivia.. ..shooting for the ultimate sacrifice, has decided to give up the Jonas Brothers for Lent. She somehow forgot their movie
was coming out tonight. And, boy, is she ticked off.'

JONAS 3D IS BETTER THAN TWILIGHT !
So I was washing my hands in the bathroom right after a private screening of Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, (side note: I just DO NOT understand why people don’t wash their hands after peeing. There is NOTHING grosser, and I feel like if I see you skip the sink after the stall, then I’m well within my rights to judge you. [Side note to the side note, I once saw Duffy in the women's bathroom here on the 17th floor, and she absolutely, positively washed her hands. Now, I liked her a lot to begin with, but having that hygienic confirmation only made me like her more.]) and I was thinking how in their 3D glasses, everyone kinda looked like Robert Pattinson.
And THAT’S when it hit me: Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience was better than Twilight the movie.
Sure, comparing Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience to Twilight is sorta apples to oranges, but considering the hot dude(s) factor, the fanatical following, and the insane anticipation and build-up to both, (plus, both involve magic!) it becomes McIntoshes to Macouns. (Oooh! There’s also Twilight’s whole apple-as-symbol-of-forbidden-fruit theme! I’M A GENIUS!)
But back to Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, also known as JB3D. I absolutely never wanted the movie to end, and I had pouty sad face when it did. Twilight, on the other hand, couldn’t have ended fast enough. (Don’t get me wrong, I loved the books, but the movie was a total letdown.)
Coming from someone who spent two days on tour with the Jonas Brothers (and some of the movie footage was filmed then! I was standing right outside when they came out of the Highline Ballroom, for instance), I can honestly assure you that Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience will be one of the greatest, if not THE greatest Jonas experience of your Jonas journey — possibly even better than seeing them live because you get a front-row seat, and you get to experience the show from the perspective of the Jonas Brothers. If the movie was made for fans who didn’t get a chance to see the Jonas Brothers live, then seriously, not even a spot smack in front of the stage can top the view that Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience provides.
I don’t want to give too much more away because really, you should go into the movie with a clean slate, and ultimately it doesn’t really matter what I think, AND you’re going to love it no matter what. But I will share a few more observations…
STOP HERE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO READ ANY JONAS SPOILERS!
Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience is first and foremost a concert film, just like the title says. Therefore, it’s really Joe’s show, mainly because he’s the unofficial leader on stage. Kevin’s joy is boundless throughout, and one of the most touching moments comes during “Hello Beautiful,” when the boys are lifted high above the audience and pause to take in the crowd’s elation. Of the three of them, you really tangibly see Nick connecting with and absorbing the power of the fans’ energy and love. (Bring Kleenex, ‘kay? You’ve been warned!)
My favorite funny moment was Kevin plunking down his cash and buying a copy of A Little Bit Longer at the Times Square Virgin Megastore the night it came out and the guys shut down Times Square.
Taylor Swift’s performance of “Should’ve Said No” was both radiant and a little bit heartbreaking, but Joe said it himself: sometimes it’s just not meant to be.
Musically speaking, the theatrical enhancement of the Jonas’ string section was exhilarating.
There were a few things I could’ve done without, including the super, duper cheesy couples in the “Love Is On Its Way” scene — they were too schmaltzy and distracting, AND they wasted valuable Jonas real estate! But the fact that that performance was one of the most visually powerful redeemed it.
Also, and not to look a gift horse in the mouth or whatever, but I would’ve liked more candid behind-the-scenes Jonas footage, and I think you may too.
And, not that you really need it pointed out, but look for cameos by Frankie (the little boys next to me were chanting “Frankie! Frankie!” before the movie started!) and Maya. Also, Big Rob is TRULY the fourth Jonas Brother. That man keeps it the realest of the real.
Okay. I don’t wanna ruin any more Jonas secrets for you (at least the secrets the rest of the Jonasweb hasn’t already spoiled.) If I haven’t convinced you to see Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience (yes, I’m being facetious, BTW), perhaps the fact that they COULD BE SITTING IN THE SEAT NEXT TO YOU EATING POPCORN will.
In short, I laughed, I cried, it was better than Twilight! (Smell you later, VAMPIRES!)
+ Seen it yet? Did you get to go to the premiere!?!? Share your review in the comments or my Buzzworthy Twitter! Check out more Jonas videos and movie clips, watch The Jonas Brothers Experience, and get more movies on the MTV Movies blog

Miley's "Prince Charming"
Miley Cyrus revealed the date she fell in love and broke up with 'Prince Charming' (Nick Jonas) in her new book Miles To Go. Hannah Montana had only been on air a few months when I went to a benefit for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. I remember the exact date: June 11, 2006. It was the day I met my first love. Let's call him Prince Charming. I don't want to use his name because this isn't about who he is or what I meant to him. It's about how I felt and what our relationship meant to me.So we were at this benefit, and I didn't know anything about the prince except I knew from a friend that he thought I was pretty. He came up to me with bunch of guy friends and introduced himself. Instantly, I wanted them to go to go away and just to be with him.Prince Charming and I broke up on December 19, 2007. The hardest day ever. My life felt like it had ground to a halt, but the rest of the world kept right on rolling. I was on tour. People were counting on me.

Jonas Brothers
1. www.JonasMosaic.com - Be a part of the 3D Movie opening weekend mosaic! Email your pictures of you and your friends seeing the 3D movie opening weekend, maybe the premier, a midnight showing, seeing it in Imax, or on Sunday afternoon. 10 Lucky JB fans will win a signed poster by the boys.
2. FFE - Make sure to appoint Theatre Captains, or Colonels according to Joe, with your group. Also, send in pictures from your house party to the site! AND starting today try to earn as many points as you can in the day.
3. Tour & Album - THEY ARE ANNOUNCING THE DATES SOON!!!! YES! Of course, I don’t know what their definition of soon is, but for me soon means by the end of the month. Boys, right ::nudge nudge:: right? AND they were recording last night, a song about fans. Recording on a Friday Night? At least Joe had some awesome pancakes after.
4. ETC - Joe gave massive promotion to Jamba Juice, and I’m pretty sure their sales of that strawberry drink will go through the roof! Kevin was holding a Starbucks - my fav. AND they totally stuck with Ritas over Pinkberry. Always guys, always. There were acoustic songs of Tonight, a Monkey song, and Lovebug/Jason Mraz.
Overall, this was such an AMAZING CHAT! It started on time, they actually did more than just promote the movie. Joe defended farting, Nick confused Chile & chili, and they played Hangman. Did anyone else think it was funny Kev’s phrase was “Cell Phone? I updated a lot on my twitter, which was easier and quicker. THEY DO NOT HAVE A TWITTER! Joe - it is pronounced T-W-I-T-T-E-R.

Love Is On Its Way- New Jonas Brothers 3D song
Young hearts, I believe that we are not that far
From becoming who we truly are
Love is on its way
Dreamers, you see everything in color
While the world is getting darker
Love is on its way
So hold on another day
Cause love is on its way
You'll find it's gonna be ok
Cause love is on its way
Its alright you'll find a brighter day
Cause love is on its way
Leaders, show us how to love each other
It could help us to recover
Love is on its way
Lonely, I believe that you will find me
And together we will truly see that love is on its way
So hold on another day
Cause love is on its way
You'll find it's gonna be ok
Cause love is on its way
Its alright you'll find a brighter day cause love is on its way
So hold on another day
Cause love is on its way
You'll find it's gonna be ok
Cause love is on its way
Its alright you'll find a brighter day cause love is on its way

Behind NELENA BREAKUP
Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez have supposedly broken up after being romantically linked since last summer. An insider told Star the reason behind the breakup was Nick's busy schedule: 'He's a hard boy to date. He's very into his music and any girl comes second. Selena would often miss Nick, and he just wouldn't be there. But they're still friends. They're both very mature. She won't make a weird scene about it.'

What keeps the JonasBros up at night
Jonas Brothers revealed to TWIST the fears that keep them awake at night when lying in bed.
Nick worries about his family being safe with all the traveling they do: 'Helicopters freak me out. We've had to ride in them a bunch of times!'
Joe stresses out about how overwhelming life can be, especially if you get trapped in an elevator: 'My biggest fear is being in an elevator with 16 people and you think the air is being sucked out!'
Kevin worries about his brothers and the bands future: 'I fear the record label saying they have another artist they're going to work with, and everyone will move on to the next band.' Nick added, 'We just try our best to make our mom proud. Everyone makes mistakes, but we're just doing out best.'

Jonas Brothers: 'Good boys,' happily grounded, talkative
BEVERLY HILLS — The Jonas Brothers are mugging for the camera on the balcony of a posh hotel suite. The photographer asks Kevin to shift his arm.
"Sure, but you've got to pay us first," he says.
Say it ain't so, JoBros!
Has the sweet-natured trio gone Hollywood-cynical already?
Breathe easy. The eldest Jonas is just channeling another upbeat band whose first fans also consisted largely of hyperventilating young girls.
"Have you seen video of The Beatles' first press conference in New York?" Kevin later asks a publicist who didn't catch the Fab Four reference as they walk down the hall to one of nearly two dozen interviews they'll give today. "A reporter asks them a question, and (John Lennon) goes, 'You've got to pay us first.' It's such a great quote."
Comparing any rocking combo to The Beatles risks musical heresy. That said, these three lads from New Jersey — Kevin, 21, Joe, 19, and Nick, 16 — are hot on the Liverpudlians' manic mid-'60s pace.
The trio — which could turn into a quartet if the so-dubbed "Bonus Jonas," Frankie, 8, got shaking — sells millions of records, plays to rabid crowds, has a TV show and, on Feb. 27, unveils new movie Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience.
And then there's the band's pop-culture ubiquity, with appearances at the Grammy Awards (where they just lost best new artist to Adele and jammed with Stevie Wonder), on Saturday Night Live (opposite hot host Alec Baldwin) and in the White House (first fans Malia and Sasha Obama enjoyed an acoustic serenade on move-in day).
All this, and yet just two years ago they traveled to gigs in a van.
It helps, of course, that they're traveling aboard the good ship Disney. The company has put its full weight behind the group with a vision to replicate its wildly lucrative Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana franchise.
The new Jonas Brothers movie is a page straight from the Cyrus playbook. But mixing up-tempo songs with a you-are-there feel (and a few off-stage vignettes to break up the music), the movie aims squarely for anyone with a Jonas jones who failed to get their in-person concert fix.
"Last year, Miley's 3-D movie (of her Best of Both Worlds tour) opened at $31.1 million and ultimately made $65 million in the U.S.," says Paul Dergarabedian, box office analyst for Hollywood .com. "With the success of girl-oriented movies like Twilight, the timing for a Jonas movie couldn't be better. If they open at $30 million, few would be shocked."
Music is the moneymaker
Big bucks already are flowing, thanks to album sales. The group's latest release, A Little Bit Longer — their second on Disney's Hollywood Records and a follow-up to the 1.4 million-selling Jonas Brothers— topped Billboard's album chart shortly after its August unveiling and has sold close to 1.5 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Last year's concert tour grossed $41.5 million and was the 13th biggest in North America, "one step above Coldplay," says Gary Bongiovanni, editor of the touring trade publication Pollstar. "They were the breakout new act of the year. Everyone else out there, from Madonna on down, were the usual suspects. They haven't peaked yet."
All of which has meant that Kevin, Joe and Nick have traded a modest home in New Jersey for spreads in Los Angeles and Dallas, and trips in vans for travel aboard a Gulfstream jet. Might they be flying too high too fast?
The boys shake their heads; they're happily grounded.
"We see artists take years off just to regroup, but we're really enjoying all this," Kevin says as the three plop down on a sofa three-quarters of the way through a day of media chats. A publicist nearby keeps an eagle eye on the interview clock.
"We're still growing as musicians," Nick says. His voice is soft, but when he speaks, the older boys defer to him. "All this attention and success is flattering, but we've got a long way to go."
Would they consider going solo? "We all have dreams of our own, sure," Joe says. "But a band is a band. We're in it together."
Disney minders may be close at hand, but this Three Musketeers patter sounds genuine, born of road-trip-to-nowhere gigs with their pastor father, Kevin Sr., 43. Their affection for one another seems real, much like their teen-zine-ready good looks.
Nick is ruggedly casual in a plaid shirt with rolled-up sleeves, jeans and boots. Kevin, in a leather jacket, cops a Brando look. And Joe, alone with his natural curls slicked down, summons an '80s vibe with a collarless jacket and skinny tie.
And always, those photo-op-ready smiles.
"They're good kids," says "Big Rob" Feggans, who stands guard outside the hotel suite door. He's the mountain of a bodyguard who was drafted by the guys to rap on their hit song Burnin' Up.
"I don't rap, but they wanted me to be involved, so I gave it a try. That's just the way they are," he says. "As far as I'm concerned, anything they get, they deserve."
A straight line to success
Their genuine, raised-right demeanor is the best thing about the band, says Karleigh Santry, 16, of Erie, Pa., who along with her sister, Katie, 18, started jonasbrothersfan.com.
"Sure, they're cute, but mostly they're great role models and their music is clean," says Karleigh, who says she has been to at least 50 Jonas Brothers concerts. "A lot of people say you have to be 10 to like them. But what they write about, well, it's really what teens talk about."
No less than Rolling Stone put the JoBros on its cover last summer, along with a four-star review of the new album. "Our point there was, like it or not, they're making a kind of power-pop that hasn't been seen since the days of Cheap Trick," says Caryn Ganz, the rock magazine's pop music critic. "They may have the prefab look, but they play and write their music."
Ganz says the band's next album will be scrutinized by those critics who have elevated them from manufactured boy band to genuine artists. "Their fans are mostly crazy, fanatical tweens, and they'll stick by them," she says. "But if they make anything less than a great record, critically they'll be in trouble."
Down the road, there are a few possible avenues for the Jonas Brothers to take.
There's the route taken by another brotherly trio, Hanson. After their 1997 hit MMMBop, Hanson "quietly went off to make records on their own, none of which do that well, but they've got money and are doing just fine," says David Smay, co-editor of Bubblegum Music Is the Naked Truth: The Dark History of Prepubescent Pop, From the Banana Splits to Britney Spears.
The other option is to break from their Disney roots and follow former Mouseketeer Justin Timberlake. Or at least one of them might. "I can see Nick doing that in particular," Smay says. "Maybe going off and finding some great musicians to work with, forming a new band and leaving the Jonas name behind."
It's nothing personal
You're not going to get the Jonas boys to go down that speculative path. Leaning forward on their elbows, the three offer mostly short answers to a range of questions.
Nick on coping with type 1 diabetes for the past three years: "At first, I thought, 'Why me?' But the more I told my story to people, I thought, 'Why not me?' It's an opportunity."
Kevin on the famous girls in their lives, singer/songwriter Taylor Swift, 19, who appears in the new concert film, and Miley Cyrus, 16: "We saw both of them all week leading up to the Grammys. They're great friends. It's neat to hear a new generation of musicians come up."
Nick shuts the door: "We choose not to talk about our dating lives."
Joe on their new home in Dallas: "It's on a golf course. We love to ride around on the carts and talk to the older guys."
Nick: "We cause havoc."
Kevin: "Well, not really havoc."
With touring and moviemaking and interview-giving, when do they write songs?
Nick: "We have downtime during the filming of our TV show (Disney Channel's J.O.N.A.S.). We're starting songs for the next album and will rehearse soon."
Not many minutes in, the audience ends. The boys rise in unison, each thrusting out a hand and apologizing for the rush.
You sense they mean it, but the Disney trains must run on time. The boys sit back down and another questioner enters.
A few days later, the phone rings. It's the Jonas Brothers. The first meeting was too brief, and Disney offers up another shot at the trio. They're curious about the reaction to a preview screening of their 3-D film, which opens with a chased-through-New York nod to The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night. Told that the movie was obscured by 70-odd minutes of shrieking audience members, Nick laughs.
"Well, it's not always like that," he says, unconvincingly.
"We're definitely fans of A Hard Day's Night, and we wanted people to see what goes on behind the scenes a bit, too," Kevin says.
That would include the brothers waking up (cue screams from the audience) and changing backstage (louder screams).
How do they get away from the estrogen-fueled mayhem?
"We love to play golf, or whiffle ball or football, mostly with the guys in the band," Nick says. "But right now, we're writing a lot."
The next album is due this summer; they are five songs into the project. Nick starts to list the group's influences, which include "a lot of classic artists, like Elvis Costello and Prince and …"
His voice grows faint, then the line abruptly goes dead. It's easy to picture them being hustled off to another room, another interview, another engagement, another city.
Just another day in the outsized life of the Jonas Brothers.

Taylor Swift on the cover of Rolling Stone
Taylor Swift will cover the new issue of Rolling Stone. The interviewer said: 'She really is like a tomboy. I asked her if she likes to get manicures and she was like 'No, I don't do that.' She doesn't go get massages, she eats crappy food. She was like, 'Yeah, I totally am a tomboy. If I had been better at sports, I would have just been a tomboy. But I wasn't, so I got into singing.''How does Tay feel about being on the cover? 'She's so excited. She said she cried. She talked about how she never went in saying that she'll be on the cover of Rolling Stone
. Taylor said, 'I would always have a dream that's attainable and then as I've achieved more I would set different goals, I'm totally freaking out because all these things are happening like being on SNL and being on the cover of Rolling Stone.' Just like all these things in her mind she'd considered the ultimate thing to happen is happening. So she said she was 'totally freaking out.''

JONAS BROTHERS SOLO PROJECTS ?!
Posted by jasminejoejonas at 3:41 PM 0 comments
IT'S LIKE THEY'VE CREATED A MONSTER
So, who are the Honor Society, you ask? They are four well-dressed, well-coiffed guys originally from New Jersey who were fortunate enough to have their EP, A Tale of Risky Business, catch the eye of Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas last summer. Since then, Honor Society have opened up shows for the mega-star siblings, and are now managed by the Jonas Group, which of course also manages the brothers and fellow Disney star Demi Lovato.
The band’s sound — something lead singer Michael Bruno (no, not the EW staffer) characterizes as “if Justin Timberlake had a rock band” — certainly fits the mold of its famous friends: catchy, unassuming, inoffensive pop. So, the question begs to be asked: Are the Honor Society the next Jonas Brothers? Read on after the jump to find out…
• Celebrity Endorsement: Clearly, the Jonas Brothers like the band. They showed up at The Fillmore just to watch from the balcony, and later even made a brief cameo on stage, where plenty of man-hugs and sweet nothings like “can we open for you guys someday” and “Honor Society is the greatest band ever” were dispensed. Young, impressionable teens simply will not be able to resist.• MySpace Phenoms: The Honor Society is fast approaching two million page views, an astronomical number for a band that has not even released a proper album. “MySpace really became our media outlet, and provided the freedom we needed to share our music and connect with our fans in a rewarding, organic kind of way,” Bruno tells me backstage. Judging by the length of the line for the meet-and-greet after the show, catering to their fans is the bands #1 priority.• Showmanship: They know how to work a crowd. Granted, getting teenage girls to scream who are already extremely prone to screaming anyway isn’t all that tough, but the Honor Society were especially adept at getting the crowd all riled up. Fans were singing, clapping, and dancing along while snapping photos and doing all they could to exhaust those poor vocal cords.
Reasons Why Not:• Tactlessness: Forgive the phrasing, but after the on-stage collaboration with the Jonas Brothers that literally made the girl next to me weep, the band started its encore by replaying “Over You,” the Maroon 5-lite song that kicked off the show. To paraphrase: “You’re going to be hearing this song a lot over the next few months,” Bruno explained on stage, “so start learning the words and sing along!” Sure, they have just a handful of songs (and only played for the better part of an hour), but isn’t that like totally not allowed in the concert rulebook?• Age: Age ain’t nothing but a number, true, but the band is said to be “in their 20’s.” Some of them look well into their 20’s, which is a bit older than their colleagues (the oldest Jonas is 21, and Lovato is but 16). But, being grouped with stars from the Disney universe isn’t something Bruno sees as a negative. “Fans are fans, whether they are 13, 33 or 63. When you go into a record store, there isn’t a Disney section, you know?” he tells me. “At the same time, the Jonas Brothers are incredible musicians. You don’t end up on stage playing with Steve Wonder at the Grammys if you aren’t.”• Still Unsigned: While the band says it is currently in the studio recording songs for its first full-length album (due this fall), they skirted around the question of their label status when asked. But really, it’s only a matter of time.
So, what do you think, PopWatchers? Do Honor Society deserve the hype? Are they destined to be the next big thing amongst the Disney set? And is it ever acceptable for a band to play the same song twice at a show? Hit up the comments and weigh in.
