• Demi & Selena on fighting- Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have been BFFs for a long while now, but that doesn't mean the girls haven't had their share of fights. The two told Twist that they fight, but they also know how to get over it quickly.Recently the two had a major fight, which caused Demi to be nervous about calling her old pal Selena."There were things we both need to say," Demi said. "I just called her and was like 'OK, just say it, so we don't fight'"All it took was the phone call to immediately defuse the situation."Then I said what was bothering me, and Selena was like 'OK, I'm sorry.' And I said 'Me too.'"Selena Gomez said clearing the air is as easy as talking."Sometimes, especially with me and Demi, we get caught up when we're doing different things," Selena said. "We need to make sure we have time for each other and really appreciate our friendship."These two can't stay mad at each other for long, says Demi."We don't like to stay mad at each other," she said. It's all love, according to Selena."Thank goodness me and Demi have the relationship we do," she said. "We'll sit down and talk to each other and say 'Look I'm feeling this way so let's fix it because I love you.' Sometimes we need to be reminded that we need each other."

UPDATE 1/9

• Taylor Swift on Saturday Night Live tomorrow !

• Twilight DVD cover is out !

• Article on People about DIck&Clark's Rockin' New Eve: http://www.people.com/people/gallery/0,,20249834_20561243,00.html

• J-14 posted a new myspace blog: "And we have quizzes, truth or dare, embarrassing moments, prizes (win a trip to the American Idol finale, Twilight's Taylor signed ipod, JB 3D premiere tickets), glossy posters, and so much more!"
The February issue hits stands January 12.

• Perez on Ashley Tisdale: Ashley Tisdale was spotted out in Los Angeles yesterday sporting her oversized gold Louis Vuitton “Vernis” Alma handbag.
The Tiz was on her was to a casting office.
And with what looks to be the end of The High School Musical series for her, we don't doubt she's looking for more work.
You can only survive with Disney for so long!
But, seriously, it's time for a Blondie/Teddy playdate. You can't keep those two cuties apart for much longer!

• MTV on Taylor Swift: Everywhere Taylor Swift goes she manages to make some sort of news, and this week is no exception for the 19-year-old. Her album, "Fearless," is once again at the top of the charts, and Taylor is stunned by the accolades.
"I cannot believe that. I get a phone call every single week," she told MTV News at her "Saturday Night Live" rehearsal. "I honestly can't believe that. The fans have been so good to me. The fact that people actually like it, I can't believe it."
With another week at #1 comes the opportunity to be the musical guest on this week's "SNL." And, making more news for herself, Swift is the youngest country artist to occupy the musical-guest spot. "I was just told that [and] I can't believe it," she said. "That never occurred to me — it feels like everything the past couple of months has been a dream."
As a part of the legendary show, Swift also gets to work with host and "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris, who revealed a secret or two about the country star.
"Taylor Swift is lovely and — contrary to popular belief — is pretty tall," he said. "She's, like, 5'7 or 5'8'' and then wears heels and is 7'2". Next to her I look like Ryan Seacrest."
Harris has obviously mastered the art of comedy, and during the rehearsals he and Swift got to share some quips for the promos. (Watch Swift and Harris filming the promos over in the Newsroom.) Does Swift have a possible career in comedy waiting for her? "She's good at reading cue cards," Harris joked.

• Taylor Swift did an AOL sessions and People Magazine photoshoot, and the pictures are gorgeous! Might post some later.

• Taylor was spotted shopping with the news host Katie Couric at Jeffrey Store in New York City on today's Afternoon.
• Entertainment Weekly on Jonas Brothers 3D: After helping pack multiplexes as the opening act in last year’s 3-D Miley Cyrus concert film, the Brothers are inviting their adoring fans to strap on those special glasses all over again—this time for an all-Jonas feature. ”We had a great time being part of Miley’s movie, but to be able to see what we liked in that movie and do more of it in our own movie was exciting,” says oldest brother Kevin, 21. So what was on the Jonases’ wish list? Tons of eye-popping arena footage from their summer ‘08 Burning Up Tour, plus a handful of scripted sequences and all-new performances. For one scene (pictured), they visited New York City’s Central Park to play ”Love Is on Its Way,” a tune that didn’t make the cut for their platinum-selling A Little Bit Longer. ”It’s been a dream of ours forever to film a music video in Central Park,” says brother Nick, 16. ”And to see it in 3-D is amazing. We’ve always said we wish we could watch ourselves play, but obviously that’s impossible!” At least, it was until now.
• Next Friday, Radio Disney will be hosting the Planet Premiere of Let’s Go Crazy by Miley Cyrus from the upcoming Hannah Montana 3 Soundtrack. The Hannah Montana Movie soundtrack is still on track for a March 24th release, while the release date for Hannah Montana - Season 3 is July 7th.

• HAIRSPRAY 2 ! Hairspray director Adam Shankman spilled the beans about the sequel to New Line's blockbuster movie-musical and just how Zac Efron and Brittany Snow fit into the big picture.Hairspray 2: White Lipstick is the sequel's official movie title, which was actually the original title for 1998's Hairspray. Shankman dished to MTV on more of teen idol Zac, 21, and less of Brittany, 22. Here's what he had to say:On Link Larkin getting hooked on acid: "I think that's probably part of the treatment that won't get used. And in the treatment, [Efron's drug use] is an accident. That's the kind of stuff where you're like: 'Yeah, I don¡¯t know if that¡¯s going to work.'"On who will take the place of the Von Tussles, the villians of the movie: "There'll be a change in villains. [John Waters' treatment] is ideas that we're just going to pick and choose from, and we'll see what happens with it. Probably [no Michelle Pfeiffer]. Not because we didn't love her, but because we just thought different adversaries [would be necessary]."On the Vietnam War backdrop: "No, it wasn't Zac."

5 Reasons Why the Jonas Brothers Must Absolutely Perform at the Inauguration

MTV Buzzworthy Blog: In two short weeks it’s out with the old, in with the new as President-elect Obama finally moves into the biggest digs in D.C. after his inauguration ceremony on January 20th. There’s going to be screaming supporters, fanfare, crowds, parades … and the Jonas Brothers?! Well, there should be.
One rumor floating around Jonas Land is that the Jonas Brothers have been invited to take part in the festivities — specifically at an inaugural ball for kids, with Miley Cyrus, on January 19.
No matter what your political views are, we think this is an opp for us all to truly come together as a country, Jonas style. Here are the top 5 reasons the JBs should be sayin’ — nay, SINGING — “YES WE CAN” at the inauguration:
5. Spies Like Us: As they proved in their “Burnin’ Up” video, any one of the JoBros could sub in for the secret service if needed. Sure there won’t be any JetSkis at the ceremony (unless Diddy’s there), but I bet there’s one of those crazy laser beam security systems in the Capitol!
4. Obama Girls: Sasha and Malia have gone ON RECORD about their JB love! Adding Nick, Joe and Kevin to the musical act roster would be as exciting as the prospect of a new presidential puppy!
3. Timing Is Everything: The Jonas Brothers’ new video, “Tonight,” comes out January 19th! The day before the inauguration! Coincidence? HARDLY!
2. Security: The only other person on the planet with a tighter security detail than the JoBros? You guessed it!: El Presidente Obama.
1. Practice Makes Perfection: Nick has told us that he wants to run for President, so this will be perfect practice for him.
We mean it everyone: this Jonas Bros performance needs to happen. It has to happen. It MUST! (call your senators!) And just to be safe, we’re sending out an “S.O.S.”

UPDATE 1/8

• The Jonas Brothers talked about their nomination for the Grammy Awards for Best New Artist on Radio Disney Tuesday. "I fear that day," Kevin, 21, told Radio Disney on Tuesday. "We didn't think we were going to be on time!" Nick told the radio station. "We literally ran to our seats and right when we got to our seats they [announced] Jonas Brothers!"

• MTV posted a blog about the JB 3D movie: “Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience” is that much closer to coming to a theater near you, and MTV News has a little peak at what you can expect from it. Besides seeing the swoonworthy fellas in 3-D, the movie also gives fans a front row seat into the lives — both personal and professional — of the Jonas “This is going to be real out of control,” the band’s trusty bodyguard Big Rob promises.
The film features cameos from Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato, as well as a previously unreleased song, “Love Is on Its Way.”
“I think if you went to the concert and you sat in the front row, your seats are not as good as it’s going to be in the film,” the film’s producer, Art Repola, told MTV News. “I think to really see what’s going on beyond watching a music video of concert film, that’ll be the best experience. It’s surprising when you see the film and you see the size of the crowds.”
In the sneak peak, the guys share with everyone why this film is the ultimate for any Jonas Brother fan (check out new photos from the Jonas Brothers 3-D film here). “The coolest part about this movie is the fact that its not just the performance sequences that you see, it’s the things behind the scenes,” Nick Jonas says in the trailer. “All the stuff that you see in the film is very real. You’ll see we really are a family and we want to invite you to the family.”
• Fearless 2009 Calendar on Taylorswift.com

• Taylor posted a Myspace bulletin on Tuesday, so don't misse her on Saturday Night Live 1/10 !: So.... I know this isn't newsworthy.. But I have no one else to tell this to. I'm sitting on my bed, and my cat is sitting next to me SNORING so loudly.. And I'm trying not to laugh, because I'll wake her up. It's so awesome though. You just don't expect little cats to snore like that. And periodically, she'll have weird dreams where she's running through a field or something (I have no idea what cats actually dream about, this is just a theory)... So then she's snoring AND twitching and moving her legs.. It's hilarious. I tried to call Abigail so she could hear it, but she's off at college is probably studying or doing something cooler than watching a cat snore.Anyway, that reminds me of something that really IS newsworthy.. Something I've been dreaming about and hoping for and wishing for years.. I just found out that I get to play on Saturday Night Live!! January 10th! It's my mom's birthday, and I don't think either of us would've believed you if you would've told us a few years ago that we'd get to spend her birthday in New York City--- at Saturday Night Live! Wow. It's pretty unreal. Things are coming along quite nicely with the tour planning. I'm SO SO SO excited for it to all come together. Yesterday, my stage designer brought over a model he made of the stage that looked like a puppet show. So, besides the fact that it's my dream stage scaled down to a small and adorable size.... it was also fun to play with. Which even further confirms that it's my dream stage. I've worked up most of the musical arrangements and transitions between songs. I can't wait for you to see this show. I can't wait for this summer tour. And I love you, I love you, I love you.lovelovelove-T-

Demi&Selena's Boyfriend Pact

They tell Popstar magazine:

Demi: 'Well, we meeting all the same guys! It's funny because she always has a guy when I don't and I always have a guy when she doesn't, so we never really have a problem.'Sel, 'If we're ever single and we see a cute guy and I'm like, 'I really think he's cute..' she's like, 'Go for him! Even if she things he's cute too. Demi, 'We just wouldn't want a guy to come in between our friendship. Guys come and go, but she doesn't!'Dem also has bad boy crushes: 'There's so many times where Selena's been like, 'No. You are not dating him.' And I'll be like, But Selena..! Mom! She's like, 'No, I'm sorry, you can't! I don't like that guy.' So don't date him!'

Joe&Jordan Backstage at Nashville Concert

Taylor Lautner is in New Moon For Sure !

"I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.
The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I'm looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.
very best
Chris Weitz"

"I'd just like to add that I was very much a part of this decision. My first priority was always what was best for New Moon—what was going to give us the best possible movie. I'm truly thrilled that Taylor was the one who proved to the director, to Summit, and to me that he is the best possible Jacob we could have. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing what he's going to bring to Jacob's character this year.
- Steph"

yay ! Taylor Lautner should play Jacob & nobody else !

Btw, a Filipino production of "Twilight" is supposed to begin soon !
