• Demi posted a new Myspace blog- Mood: happy Category: Life. hey everybody :D i know it's late, but i can't sleep mainly because i wanted to fill everybody in on what's been on my mind lately. first off i wanted to tell everyone thank you for even reading this. the fact that you're taking the time out of your day to hear me blab about life is pretty cool so thanks for listening! haha basically i can't sleep because i'm so happy. hahaha sounds so ridiculously corny but honestly i feel like a new person. 2009 has started off to be the best year of my life which sounds impossible because 08' was INCREDIBLE! i started a new tv show (WHICH AIRS FEB. 8TH.. AHHH!), i released an album (WHICH RE-RELEASES THIS MONTH TOO :P ), and meatloaf wednesday was invented!! :D seriously though, just thinking about the opportunities alone that i've been blessed with this year puts a huge smile on my face.. but there's so much more to life than just work (in a good way) and i've realized this because i'm finally really enjoying time at home. i have an incredible group of new (and 'old') friends, my family and i have a stronger bond than ever before, and.... i'm really growing as a person. (no seriously i think i grew an inch.. :P just kidding.) but honestly i feel like a new person. and in the best way possible. over the past few months i've really just changed my perspective on life and it's really made me mature into a "new me". it's weird, i've even been dressing more 'girly' because i've gained a lot of confidence in myself and my.. ..appearance. mainly because i've been working out a whole bunch just staying fit and eating healthy.. it feels amazing. i even have PINK nail polish on my toes which has nothing to do with confidence but i just find it weird because i haven't worn that since like.. 8th grade.. haha. but i've just become a brighter and happier person because i'm finally comfortable in my new home here in california, getting more time to spend with my family and i've been building strong and amazing friendships with new friends. i've just been trying new things, for example, new hobbies and a new hair color! :P i've even been listening to different genres of music to try to increase my writing skills and well, just because i want to! haha. i never really listened to anything but rock but i've really been into like hip hop and country.. even classic R&B. the classic R&B like aretha and billie holiday, have so much soul and passion in their music... it's been inspiring me and my writing so much lately. i really want my next album to have more passion and soulful songs on it rather than rah i hate you, you broke my heart' type of songs... haha. think more of john mayer, or duffy.. or even kelly clarkson in her bluesy days. i think over this next year you all are going to watch me evolve into a new person. and no i'm not 'changing' like i promised i wouldn't in LA LA LAND.. but i'm growing. besides teenagers change a million times before they truly find themselves and i'm really beginning to find out more about myself each day. so don't be scared if i start to wear less black or eye-makeup. haha. i'm not changing.. just maturing.. and you all are helping me so much. each time i meet a fan it boosts my happiness. i wouldn't be doing any of this without you.. without your support.. without your loyalty.. ..and without your smiles when i look out into the audience. i love you guys. now i'm gonna go to bed before my mom yells at me.. hahaha.   February is in full swing and the Jonas Brothers, Kevin, 21, Joe, 19 and Nick, 16, are looking forward to the holiday that celebrates love.
  The Jonas Brothers recently discussed how they felt about the upcoming holiday with M magazine and it seems the JoBros are enamored with the day.
  Nick Jonas said, “The best thing a girl can do is let ME take her out for the night of her life.”
  Kevin also takes V-Day seriously. Although he didn’t dish on what his plans were for this Valentine’s Day, he recalled, “I once surprised a girl with a steak dinner that I prepared. Then, I gave her her favorite chick-flick and we watched it together.”
  The holiday for lovers has him thinking about marriage, too. He said, “What happened to the idea of getting married young? I don’t understand why people are so afraid of marriage.”
  Joe Jonas likes to keep things simple for V-Day. He told M, “I’d love it if a girl wrote me a love letter.”
  How did the Jonas Brothers get to be so lovey-dovey? They took a clue from their mother. Nick said, “Every year we wake up to a box of our fave candy and a love note on the dining room table waiting for us.”
  Nick Jonas is dating Wizards of Waverly Place star, Selena Gomez while older brother Kevin has been keeping busy with his girlfriend, Danielle. Although Kevin expressed his desire to get married, he hasn’t switched out his purity ring for an engagement ring.. at least not yet.
  The Jonas Brothers release their 3-D Concert Experience in American theaters on Feb. 27, 2009. Also appearing in the film are Joe’s ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato.

The show is going great we are almost finished with our 2nd season and about to take off to shoot our movie for the show! we are so excited to start that! Also im still in the studio recording my album & I really am so happy with how its coming out & cant wait to share it with you! AND I wanted to fill you guys in on my new family.. some of you may already know of them but they are this AMAZING band called Forever the Sickest Kids! They have been so sweet to me and are the brothers ive never had! we all live in Texas and bonded so quickly! It has taken Greenspan more than four years from the time that she approached Cleary to this moment, beginning to cast and prep for shooting. My Camp Rock is inspired by the theme of Disney Channel’s original Camp Rock movie, and will air as four weekly Friday night shows, culminating in a live finale. Disney Channel is currently scouting the U.K. for eight talented kids between the ages of 8 and 16 to take part in the series. The winning band or solo artist will have the chance to produce their own cover version of a Camp Rock track, along with a music video, which will be broadcast on the channel.
Unique TV will follow the eight chosen hopefuls at a televised Camp Rock-style bootcamp, where they will practice their vocals, choreography and performance training with the guidance of leading experts. A panel of judges will select four finalists to go head to head in a “Final Jam” and viewers will decide on the ultimate winner. Unique TV has appointed Mandy Morris as series producer. Morris has worked on several reality-based TV series, including Help! Teach is Coming to Stay and Leave Us Kids Alone for the BBC and Channel 4’s Big Brother. There were a couple fun and challenging scenes in that one and I really, really like that episode a lot.'They've found that having scripts to inspire music is easier on their emotions: 'Writing songs for the show has been a really cool experience because they'll give us kind of like an outline of what they need for the episode. We've been making the joke constantly, it's like, 'Now we don't have to get our hearts broken to write a song about heartbreak.' It's a lot easier way to do it.'Nick is having trouble adjusting to on camera performing: 'I'm kind of a perfectionist in a way. I'm very hard on myself when it comes to acting
  , and that kind of goes hand-in-hand with who found it the hardest to act. Not finding it too hard, I guess, but just finding kind of, as funny as it sounds.. ..my personality in this all and kind of the humor that I can find in it, trying to capture my own personal sense of humor. In real life, it's very dry humor but sometimes I can't quite master that on camera. I'm still learning, and I'm just enjoying every minute of it.'On the show's schedule: 'I think what's really interesting about this TV show is the schedule. We will come in at 7 AM every morning and work to about 7. So we do have the evenings to go home and have dinner with the family. If we have to go to the studio, go to the studio. Time to kind of think and be with our family, be with each other. If we do need time to just relax, we have that time too.'

He mentions how he doesn’t but been been mistaken in Texas during the week of the Thanksgiving’s Dallas Cowboy Game and someone thought he was “Big Rob” because they saw the half-time performance. He also mentioned, if the boys ever need another bodyguard, he would love to be one.

Demi Lovato may be a metalhead, but when she heads back into the studio, she'll actually be harnessing a sound more on par with adult contemporary radio. She recently told MTV News that her follow-up to last fall's "Don't Forget" will be much softer.
"I'm actually recording ... well, writing the album right now. It's going to take a different sound, so hopefully it goes over well," she said. "I sing a lot of rock, but this time I want to do more John Mayer-ish type of songs. Hopefully I can write with people like him. I love their music — it would be amazing."
The teen also admits that although she may have penned a few songs, she hasn't really done enough of the work to know when fans should expect to hear the album. "I'm guessing August," she said. "We don't have any of the songs ready yet, but I'm guessing August."
On top of putting out new music, Lovato will also be touring. "I'll be headlining an arena tour and that will be throughout the summer," she said. "Maybe May to August, [or] September-ish."
Of course, Lovato isn't just busy with her music career — she also is poised to debut her new Disney series, "Sonny With a Chance," on February 8. "The show is actually a sitcom. It's the Disney version of '30 Rock,' " she said of the show's premise. "On that show, we have a rivalry with another show, and there's so many, like, crazy plotlines. I play this girl who comes to L.A., or Hollywood, and is kind of thrown into all this madness."
Plus, later this year, Lovato will begin shooting the sequel to "Camp Rock," along with the Jonas Brothers. "We're going to be shooting it at the end of the next year," she said. "Actually this year, woo! So, we'll be shooting it late 2009, and hopefully I'll be shooting it after I do a tour."

But I think they just offered it to Dakota Fanning, the role I was interested in. Which is great, I'm a huge fan of her! So, I think she'll probably take that. And I mean, as of right now, I'm not sure if it's going to work out. But I'm definitely still going to see it!" Would Luce be open to other roles? 'I'd take any role! Leah Clearwater, but I think there's already talks with somebody else. I think they've already offered it to someone. I mean, we'll see. If not, it's all good.' Vanessa Hudgens? 'Right, Right, right! The doe-eyed middle Jonas-brother attended a birthday dinner at Villa-O for an attractive young local woman whom he may or may not be dating and who may or may not have gone with him to NY for the brothers' Times Square New Years Eve appearance. After the Dallas dinner, Joe and the group headed across Travis street for dessert at Villa-O's sibling eatery, Trece. Then Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas were off to Washington where they ended up springing a post-inaugural surprise on Sasha and Malia Obama by showing up at a party the girls were having at the White House for their new classmates.

• ET Online posted an article about JB- Wildly successful pop trio Jonas Brothers are updating fans with information about their upcoming tour, TV show and 3D movie!
  In a new MySpace.com blog entitled “JB UPDATE & THANKS,” Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas tell fans they will announce details for their world tour as early as February.
  The brothers write about their new TV show, saying they are now back in Los Angeles working on the project, adding:
  “It has been so much fun to see our show come together. We love our cast and crew. We have seen some of the footage and we can’t wait for you to see it in May of this year.”
  As for the group’s 3D movie, the Jonas Brothers say the film will be released on February 27 — and they tell fans what they think of it:
  “We just saw a screening with some fans in Dallas from our Fan Club - TEAM JONAS. It was amazing. Everyone was singing, clapping and dancing. We cannot wait to hear how you feel about the movie.”

• Yahoo!movie on Dakota Fanning playing Jane in New Moon- Dakota Fanning may not be saying much about joining the cast of the Twilight sequel, but yesterday she did confirm she's in talks to play Jane!
  As I exclusively reported last week, the 14-year-old child star has been offered the role of the young killer bloodsucker in the movie adaptation of New Moon, the second book in Stephenie Meyer's bestselling teenage vampire series.
  "It's definitely possible. I really hope it works out," Fanning told Hitfix.com while promoting her latest flick Push. "It would be a really fantastic experience I'm sure."
  Director Chris Weitz is so confident that Fanning is right for the part, he offered it to without even an audition. Filming of the much-anticipated flick begins in March in the U.S. and Italy.
  A member of the deadly Volturi, Jane is described in a casting notice as a petite blonde with a "Botticelli angel-like face…[and] crimson irises."
  An online petition to cast Fanning as Jane has seen a huge bump in signatures ever since my story broke on Wednesday.
  A rep for the studio, Summit Entertainment, reportedly confirmed Fanning is one of the actors being considered for the role.
  If it happens, Fanning will join returning stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, among others. New Moon is set to open in November.

4th Jonas Brothers Album

• So apparently the boys started recording in the past 2 weeks and are still working on it the next 2 weeks before they start promoting their movie. A reliable source, a fan, who met the Jonas Brothers last week at their meet and greet in Detroit said that Nick opened about the new CD. He said the songs sound like nothing they have ever done before, when asked if they were ballad or dance tracks. How did he compare them? British Rock - sounds like The Zutons!
• Insiders are also letting us know that the boys are in the recording studio this week and next next week starting the process of recording the tracks for their 4th CD - which the title is not known yet. The boys have been doing this in between filming JONAS episodes.

• Demi's Valentine's Day Tip: Demi Lovato knows a thing or two about Valentine’s Day. She once had her heart broken on Valentine’s Day. The experience was bitter enough that she penned her song Don’t Forget in order to make sure she always remembered what happened.
  “I was really into this guy and I figured he was going to ask me to be his Valentine,” Demi told Tiger Beat. “Then he got a girlfriend and forget about me! I was bummed and alone on Valentine’s Day. So I wrote ‘Don’t Forget’”
  Demi turned a negative into a positive, after all. Now, she’s not as worried about boys on Valentine’s Day. Instead, she’s decided to keep the focus where it really matters, on her family.
  “One of my favorite memories is from a special Valentine’s Day I shared with my family,” she said. “Valentine’s Day is my dad’s birthday and that day it was the only thing we were celebrating. We had a family friend come over and they brought every girl a rose, a balloon, and a card that said ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’.”
  She loved the simple gift.
  “It was so sweet, and we had a giant cookie, which is the best thing in the world.”
  Demi Lovato hopes her fans will remember what’s important on this special day.
  “I think Valentine’s Day is really about loving your family,” she said. “My family is really, really close, so we spend it together. Another great way to spend Valentine’s Day is to watch The Notebook, eat pickles, and hang out with friends.”

• The Jonas Brothers’ upcoming Disney Channel series Jonas casts them as teen rock stars trying to have a normal high school life. It provides fodder for many comic misadventures, but the boys assure their fans that it’s not really that difficult in real life.
  “We have an amazing team around us, amazing friends,” said Kevin Jonas. “Our cast is incredible. We have an amazing family and friends, and we’re just like normal guys. We like to hang out. We go shopping. We hang out with friends. We go see movies. But we just work a lot at the same time, but we love it.”
  The show may hearken back to the classic musical series The Monkees and The Partridge Family, of which Kevin is acutely aware. “We were actually on vacation one year, and were out by a beach when a storm came in, so it was just raining for three days. So the only thing on the TV was reruns of The Monkees for literally three days straight. It was amazing. And definitely watched The Partridge Family. Definitely of course we’ve seen the Beatles’ movies, a huge inspiration. I think for us we’re really excited to incorporate our music as well into this process, and that adds a whole other element for us because that’s where our original passion is, in our heart. To combine those two things is really, really exciting.”
  Jonas fans will also get a chance to see actual Jonas memorabilia in the sets of the show. “All the clothes you see and the things like that on the show, Michelle Tomaszewski, our stylist, is doing the show as well. So you see those different aspects. I think something that is very personal to us is we go to a school that definitely has a uniform that we have to wear at school every day. But each day that same uniform is altered, to make it for ourselves. So each one has something new every single day, every episode, and that is different than anybody else in the school, but it’s still the uniform. That brings out our own personal styles, and I think that’s what is really cool about this thing is they really took those moments and took those things and built it.”
  Even the fictional Jonases home life has hints of reality. “In the television show, they built a room that has the three different sections. One’s for Joe. One’s for me and one’s for Nick, and each one has our individual tastes. For example, me, I can’t sleep in anything but a tour bus bunk bed. When I hit a button, you hear the horns and the flashing and everything, and it looks like I’m on a tour bus just because that’s where I’m comfortable, and they built that into the wall. And Nick has a bed that has a drum set. It comes down on top of his bed. It’s amazing. And Joe’s looks like a stage.”

TV Show:We are back on LA working on our TV show. It has been so much fun to see our show come together. We love our cast and crew. We have seen some of the footage and we can't wait for you to see it in May of this year.

3D Movie Soundtrack:The soundtrack for the 3D movie will come out on February 24th here in the US. It will probably release just before the premiere in that country. It includes some new songs. One of the songs has never been heard before.
FanFamily Experience:We started a new website called FanFamily Expereince (www.fanfamilyexperience.com). We have alread had over 3 Million hits. We will be doing a lot of special things to connect with our fans. One of our first projects together will be the 3D Movie. There are already thousands of groups forming. We will be refining the website on a daily basis. This is for all the fans. We want to make this 3D Release the BIGGEST FAN EVENT IN HISTORY.
World Tour:We will be announcing the dates for our world tour very soon. It will probably be announced at the end of February or early March. Keep checking back for tour details.
