"Poison Ivy" for Camilla Belle ?/ 4th Album Details/ JB #3 boy band/ Big Rob @ Britney concert

Camilla Belle starred in the 1996 film 'Poison Ivy II' about 'Passion. Seduction. Betrayal' Jonas Brothers said that they're using metaphors in their new music. Thus comes into play their song 'Poison Ivy' about a 'toxic girl you just can't resist.' Joe must have been inspired to write that one?! [Source: OceanUp]

Just two months shy of their June 15 release date, the Jonas Brothers have completed work on their new album, tentatively titled Lines, Vines and Trying Times.

The guys have been hard at work on the album, a follow-up to last year’s A Little Bit Longer, for a good part of the year, in addition to filming their TV show, “JONAS,” and getting ready to hit the road this summer.

“Guess what everybody, we just finished the record!” Kevin Jonas wrote, Tweeting under his nickname, K2. “I’m pretty sure it’s the most excited I’ve ever been about one of our albums ever!”

Perhaps in a celebratory mood, a couple hours later, Joe and Nick decided to spend the rest of the day playing with their dog. “Throwing the baseball in the backyard with Elvis,” Nick wrote under his nickname, Mr. President.

Back in February, when MTV News caught up with the Jonas Brothers during their Theater Invasion Tour, Joe said of the album: “We’re really proud of it. It’s a good step for who we are as musicians. As we get older, so does our music. There’s a lot more horns and it’s really fun. I think people are going to be able to jam out to it in their cars or their mom’s cars or their boom boxes.”

Then a few weeks later, Nick added, “We’re trying to learn as much as we can, continuing to grow,” citing such influences as Elvis Costello, the Zutons, Kings of Leon and even Neil Diamond for the album, which is being produced by John Fields.

“[The album is] our journal in songs,” Nick said, adding that the tracks are about “things we’ve gone through, personal experiences we get inspiration from. We’ve also been working on trying to use metaphors … to kind of mask a literal thing that happens to us.”

Jonas Brothers lost to the Jackson 5 and New Edition. But they beat out 98 Degrees, Backstreet Boys, and N’SYNC.

3. Jonas Brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin, the JoBros, the hottest ’tween-pop trio in all the land! Eeeeee! The cutie-pie prides of Wyckoff, N.J., the shaggy-haired Disney kids write and perform their own janglers, which has helped them attain cool cred with older, savvier power-pop fans. Whether we’re still talking about them five years from now, who knows? But their upcoming tour didn’t just sell out in minutes — it shut down the overworked computers at Ticketmaster. They’ll be at the St. Pete Times Forum on Aug. 18.
